Michael White

For a busy restaurant in Long Island City with tight spaces and little downtime, White created an image of the iconic Queensborough Bridge on canvas. It has become a beloved and much commented-upon feature of the restaurant among its highly diverse clientele. Here White uses paint and pencil adroitly to produce an image at once heavily sketched and intensely, yet selectively, colored.
